The standard
What “credible” means here
This directory is deliberately small. A coach appears only after a person has checked their training, identity and claims against the criteria below.
01
Recognised training
At least one qualification from our list of recognised coaching or menopause training providers. We check the certificate and, where the provider offers it, the public register.
02
Verified identity
We confirm the coach is a real, contactable practitioner: name, working location, professional website or booking system, and a working email address.
03
Relevant experience
Demonstrable coaching practice with women in perimenopause or post-menopause, and a professional background that supports the specialities claimed.
04
Professional insurance
Current professional indemnity insurance, or a clear statement on the profile where it is not held so you can make an informed choice.
05
Clear scope of practice
Coaches must state plainly that they do not diagnose, prescribe or provide medical advice, and must refer to clinicians where appropriate.
06
Accurate, current profile
Profiles are reviewed on submission and after any significant edit. Out-of-date or misleading listings are suspended.
What we do not assess
We verify credentials, not outcomes. Being listed is not an endorsement of any individual coach, and coaching is not a substitute for medical care. Choosing a coach remains your decision — we recommend an introductory conversation before committing.
